RTO Lithuania initiated a meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sports, during which the planned measures to promote R&D activities were discussed:
European Union structural investment in 2021-2027: An agreement with the EU is expected to be reached by autumn, so calls for tenders can be expected no earlier than next year.
The New Generation Lithuania Plan includes a Horizon Acceleration Program. It is planned that the first calls under this program could be published in the autumn of this year, with the end of the year as the start of the implementation of activities.
Mission-based research and innovation programs: Priorities are expected to be approved in March, calls for proposals launched in June, and projects launched in the autumn of this year.
