Lithuanian Energy Institute (LEI) project is one of the four projects from Lithuanian research and study institutions among the 77 winners of the Horizon 2020 thematic area “Dissemination of Progress and Participation Development” measure “Twinning”. It is the most successful competition for Lithuanian participants in the history of this measure. So far, only one project had been successful back in 2018.
LEI will coordinate project TWIN-PEAKS – Twinning for Promoting Excellence, Ability and Knowledge to develop advanced waste gasification Solutions.
Call for proposals H2020-WIDESPREAD-05-2020 – Twinning was launched in 2019 and involved institutions from 46 countries with 439 applications. Lithuanian institutions submitted 22 projects.
Twining is one of the four instruments in the thematic area “Progress for Dissemination and Participation Development”, which provides an opportunity to exchange knowledge and good practice through the exchange of research staff between developing countries, including Lithuania, and top research institutions from the whole world.
