Today RTO Lithuania Board has appointed new RTO Lithuania executive director. This post from now on will be taken by Arminas Varanauskas, former advisor to Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania.
Arminas Varanauskas is acting director of another stakeholder association Knowledge Economy Forum, which works in fields of education and innovation policies. By bringing him to RTO Lithuania team, members of the Executive board expect to strengthen the lobbying power of the organisation. Moreover, his experience could be useful for the facilitation of joint initiatives and activities between RTO Lithuania members.
Arminas is very keen on taking this new challenge, because, as he puts himself, it is about bringing added value not only for member organisations but also for society as a whole.
“I am excited to become part of this project. RTO Lithuania members have inspiring common ground to nurture mutually beneficial cooperation. That ground is called the Green Deal. Climate change, renewable energy and a safe society are those pillars on which joint activities must be placed. I passionately share these ideas, because humanity is at the crossroads of now or never, and I am happy to join the team of now” – said newly appointed RTO Lithuania executive director Arminas Varanauskas.
